The master places special emphasis on safeguarding traditional techniques. She works with bosma and iroki — methods intrinsic to the Shakhrisabz school of embroidery. Together with her students, Gulnora Chorieva produces skullcaps, bags, purses, footwear, and chapans, seamlessly weaving tradition into contemporary design.

The ornamentation of Shakhrisabz embroidery is remarkable for its richness and diversity. Floral motifs prevail, alongside rosettes and intricate vegetal compositions featuring palmettes and stylized blossoms. Botanical and astral elements symbolically evoke nature and celestial bodies, reflecting a worldview deeply rooted in harmony between the earth and the cosmos.
